How it works - Each week we offer a choice of main dishes that come accompanied with 3 extra dishes, commonly a rice dish, a vegetable side & a condiment of some sort. We also offer 2-3 extra side dishes for those with healthy appetites!

Seven Sisters' Spices Fresh & Ready Dinners are home prepared using as many locally grown organic ingredients as possible and flavoured with our own spice blends and mixes, also predominantly organic. They are delivered cold, ready for you to warm through. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR KITCHEN IS VERY SMALL AND CROSS CONTAMINATION OF ALLERGENS IS LIKELY.

THIS WEEK'S MENU:

PORK VINDALOO with PILAU RICE, ROASTED RED CABBAGE & COCONUT and MANGO CHUTNEY - £15.00
Not as hot as you might think! Vindaloo is a dish that came to Goa in India with the Portuguese invaders, originally called vindalho. They had travelled with pork pickled in wine vinegar and on arrival made a dish with local spices and garlic, hence the name 'vinho' for wine vinegar and 'ahlos' for garlic. I am unsure how it became a byword for scorchingly hot curry here in the UK, but this is not an authentic feature and is not the case with my vindaloo! It has a medium hot chilli heat. Tender slow cooked pork shoulder that has been marinated overnight in a masala of spices and vinegar in a sauce of fresh tomatoes. High chilli heat.

PRAWN MADRAS with PILAU RICE, ROASTED RED CABBAGE & COCONUT and MANGO CHUTNEY - £16.00
Prawns in a rich, spicy tomato masala sauce, finished with grated coconut & lemon - medium hot from fresh whole chillies & Kashmiri chilli powder.

ALOO SABZI with PILAU RICE, ROASTED RED CABBAGE & COCONUT and MANGO CHUTNEY - £14.50
A delicious potato & vegetable curry, mildly spiced & fragrant finished with yoghurt, butter & paneer - please let us know at the check out if you would like a vegan version. Mild chilli heat.

All orders are subject to a £5.00 delivery fee. If you would like to collect your food from central Lewes after 5.30pm or Muddles Green over lunch time and by arrangement please use the discount code PICKUP at the checkout.

WHERE DO WE DELIVER?
We deliver widely in Lewes District including Ringmer, Kingston, Glynde, Firle, Barcombe, Cooksbridge, Plumpton and east to Chiddingly, Golden Cross, Hailsham, Polegate, Wilmington, Alfriston.....south to Seaford & Newhaven - now that we are in Muddles Green we offer deliveries in a radius around our new location including south to Hailsham and North to East Hoathly not yet Eastbourne or north to Haywards Heath but please contact us to arrange collection if you like.Deliveries are made on Friday day times & early evenings, you will be emailed a delivery slot with warming through instructions on Thursday.
